Ideal for travelers with limited time, this tour covers several “must sees” as Halong Bay, the old quarter of Hanoi and the tunnel complex of Cu Chi near Ho Chi Minh City.
ITINERARY
Day 01 Hanoi – Arrival (D)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi-Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel.
Time permitting (depending on the arrival flight) visit the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and strall around the old quarter of Hanoi.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 02 Hanoi – Halong - Hanoi (B/L/D)
Breakfast.
Early morning, drive 160 km East of Hanoi to Halong, sightseeing en route. Arrive in Halong and board a private junk for a 4-hour cruise. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes such as Thien Cung and Dau Go. Seafood lunch on board.
Drive back to Ha Noi.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 03 Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
Hạ Long
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning city tour including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed the whole October and November for maintenance) and his simple stilt house, the One-Pillar Pagoda and the Army Museum (Closed on Mondays). Lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to hotel.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 04 Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel
Pick up at hotel, drive to Cu Chi (75 km) visit an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Lunch.
Visit the History Museum (closed on Mondays. If day 4 falls on Monday the History Museum will be replaced by the War Remnants Museum) in the afternoon and make a quick photo stop at the famous tourist sites such as Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Church and Central Post Office.
Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 05 Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Leisure time until tranfer to Ho Chi Minh City - Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
