Ho Chi Minh City – Dalat – Buon Ma Thuot – Pleiku – Danang
From Dalat, an old French hillstation with mild climate to Buon Ma Thuot, famous for Vietnam’s best coffee this tour will show you the beauty of the country inland.
Vietnam is home to 54 ethnic minorities, many of them hard working hill tribes in remote mountainous areas along the border to Cambodia and Laos. Many villages of different minorities are along the route from Dalat to Hoi An and the scenery is one of Vietnam’s nicest.
ITINERARY
Day 01 Ho Chi Minh City– Dalat (-/L/D)

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh for a 8-hour drive to Dalat, a cool mountain resort. Its lakes, waterfall, evergreen forest and gardens make Dalat one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam. On the way we can make quick stops at coffee, tea and rubber plantations. Shortly stop at Prenn waterfall before arriving in Dalat. Lunch at local restaurant
Upon arrival, visit Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, built in 1933 and Xuang Huong Lake. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

Day 02 Dalat – Buon Ma Thuot (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the flower gardens and then drive to Buon Ma Thuot (about 180km or 5 hours), located among coffee plantations, this windy town and the entire area in the surroundings are populated mostly by Montagnards.

Lunch at a local restaurant.
Stop on the way to visit Lak lake, the place where Emperor Bao Dai used to go on vacation. You will cross the lake on elephants and then walk to M’lieng village to see some other local minorities. Arrive Buon Ma Thuot, accommodation

IMPORTANT NOTE: local guides are compulsory to visit some places in the central highlands, the guide provided by Asian Trails will be escorted by a local from the area in all cases.
Day 03 Buon Ma Thuot – Pleiku (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
You will visit the Don Village, 42 km from Buon Ma Thuot, the Tomb of king of elephant hunters and vestiges of ancient stilt houses.
Hồ Xuân Hương
After lunch you will continue driving to Pleiku. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 04 Pleiku – Danang (B/L)
Đà Nẵng
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Danang.
