ITINERARY:Day 01 Hanoi - Arrival (D)- Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai International airport, transfer to the hotel for check in- Meeting at lobby of the hotel- Panoramic cyclo tour in the afternoon within the old quarter followed by a visit to the lake and Ngoc Son temple.- Drop off at Thang Long theatre for water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artist-men and women stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water. End of the show and transfer to hotel.- Dinner.- Accommodation at hotel- Important note: Clients arriving in Hanoi from Laos or any other destination on an afternoon flight on Wednesday will miss the cyclo tour and Water Puppet Show. Day 02 Hanoi - Hai Phong - Halong (B/L/D)- Breakfast at hotelOption 1: for the departure from Nov 5, 2008 to Mar 25, 2009- Morning visit to the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Mondays, Fridays and the full months of October and November), his former residence and One Pillar Pagoda. Also visit the Temple of Literature built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first universit, Quan Thanh Temple and Fine Arts Museum.- Lunch at local restaurant.- Drive to Hai Phong, around 100 km east of Hanoi, to visit the Garden theatre, Du Hang Pagoda and Kenh Temple before proceeding to Halong Bay.- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Option 2: for the departure from Apr 01, 2009 to Oct 28, 2009- Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum only from the outside, his former residence and One Pillar Pagoda- Drive to Halong, 180 km east of Hanoi. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Seafood lunch on board.- A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay will take you to visit some of the islands and caves. Opportunity to swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board.

Day 03 Halong Bay – Hanoi – Danang - Hoian (B/L/D)Option 1: for the departure from Nov 5, 2008 to Mar 25, 2009- Breakfast at the hotel- Boat trip on Halong Bay, is a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.- Four-hour cruise on the bay. Seafood lunch on board.Drop off in Halong town.- Depending on the flight time from Hanoi to Danang we may include a little visit or orientation tour in Hanoi before the transfer to the airport.

- Proceed to Hanoi’s International Airport for the flight to Danang.- Arrive in Danang.- Dinner.- Accommodation in Hoi An

Option 2: for the departure from Apr 01, 2009 to Oct 28, 2009- Breakfast on board- Continue cruising the bay.- Disembark and drive back to Hanoi. - Proceed to Hanoi’s International Airport for the flight to Danang.- Arrive in Danang.- Dinner.- Accommodation in Hoi An- Lunch on board is early in the morning due to all passengers need to leave the boat by 11.30am. Please note there will not be any other meal served until dinner time.

Day 04 Hoian - Danang - Hoian (B/L/D)- Breakfast at hotel- Proceed to Danang, transfer to visit Cham Museum; Marble Mountain and China Beach.- Back to Hoian. Lunch at local restaurant- Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences. Visit the Phuc Kien hall, Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky old house and a silk workshop.- Dinner and accommodation at hotel

Day 05 Hoi An - Danang - Hue (B/L/D)- Breakfast at hotel- Drive to Hue across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea.- Arrival in Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty and transfer to the hotel, then visit Tu Duc tomb.- Lunch at local restaurant.- Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda.- Visit Imperial Citadel - Dinner and accommodation at hotel- When water level in Perfume River is too high the boat trip will be replace by a cyclo tour in the city.

Day 06 Hue - Ho Chi Minh (B/L/D)- Breakfast at hotel- Transfer from Phubai airport- Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City (when available)- Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.- Visit China town and Thien Hau Pagoda- Lunch at local restaurant- Afternoon visit to the War Remnants Museum, former Presidential Palace and quick photo stops at Notre Dame Church, and Central Post Office (time permitting).- Dinner at local restaurant- Check in at the hotel.- Accommodation at the hotel
